Cattle
One of our goals is to breed our own cows to have a constant supply of calves but for now, we settle for the odds and ends we can find. We currently have 2 Angus mix heifers that will be getting bred in July 2023 to have April 2024 calves.

Our cattle rotationally graze with our sheep, sharing a pasture, water trough, and shelter with the sheep as they move from pasture to pasture during the grazing months (May-ish through October-ish). Since the cattle we currently have were raised with the sheep and have only been separated during lambing seasons, there are no issues with them fighting or bullying the sheep. It also helps that both animals have experience with the herding dogs.
